Police ready to work during Lao new year

Police are ready to prevent the accident from occurring during Lao New Year from 11-17 April 2024 

Police will be deployed to manage the order, for facilitation on the road, community, and tourist spots (if any), on the road that is risky for the accident and other places. 

prevention enhancement, crack down on speed and check on drivers who are drunk and driving, deploying the police at the designated location, at the checkpoint, especially a permanent checkpoint 24 hours, a temporary checkpoint 16 hours for assisting and facilitating the traffic on the roads, on all intersections, to improve the traffic jam.

all drivers must carry the document, and the motorbike driver and passenger must wear the helmet if violated, the concerned person will be warned, the motorbike/vehicle will be kept by the police, and the concerned person will be fined according to regulations, before using vehicles, the vehicle's technique should be inspected, the readiness of vehicle must be well inspected, the long-distance commercial bus must be assigned two drivers whenever set out the journey and must strictly comply with the law and regulations on land transportation......
