UN for development says that
despite Laos has progressed in health system of mother in the past 20 years,especially the Maternal mortality rate (MMRate) has been reduced from 796 people in 1995 to 357 people in 2012 ( per 100 thousands birth ), this number remains high and becomes a setback factor into economic and social -development of the country.
