Lao National Tourism Administration released tourism statistics for 2011showing the country received 2.723.564 international tourists as for Vientiane alone receives more than 1 million and earning a revenue of US$ 114 million and up 13.21 %.
Thai tourists occupy number 1 in Laos and the tourists from Europe is French tourists who visited Laos the most in 2011.
