Xelanong dam III will be kicked off the survey next month

The  Hydro power plant  Xelanong iii is located in Tang en village, Nong district , Savannakhet
province Where is located about 60 km away from Xepon district.
 and that dam is estimated that it would generate about 80 MW
and  average, it will generate the electricity approximately 305,62 GWH/ year
And  total construction capital is  US$162 million or approximately 1.310 billion kip (Lao currency)
After the Simuang group LTD signing the MOU with the government which represents by
Ministry of planning and investment,
Company has initiated to sign the Hydrology data collection contract with Hydro LAO co, in the
Beginning of 2014’s. And Yet has been carried out
Has been looking for the company to survey which it has been taking some time and finally has
selected a Contractor “ SINO-HYDRO NO 14 “company from Yunnan province, China
The survey will be spending US$ 2.2 million or 17 billion kip and it will be kicked off the survey in the beginning of December,2014 and it will take 18 months to be completed.
