Chinese company invests in banana plantation in Laos
The banana plant plantation with US$800,000 investment will be covered in four villages in district, according to MoU has been signed between representatives of Division of Provincial Planning and Investment and Yongfa Rural Development Irrigation in the witnesses of Chief of Beng District, Mrs. Khammy Souksavath and relevant official of both sides.
The banana plants have already been grown over 70 ha out of 130 ha of land concession and the remaining would be scatted by young banana plants at the end of this year.
The target villages are Nalay, Pangduea, Xienglae and Nabone villages of Beng district, Oudomsay provinces. The yield will be distributed in domestic market and export.
