(KPL) The Ministry of Industry and Commerce in cooperation with the Lao-Indochina Group, the Lao Development Bank and Sangthong district held a meeting to review the cassava plantation project of the company. Indochina Group President, Mr. Sengmaly Sengvatthana, said that this year the company had urged farmers in Sangthong district to plant cassava for its factory on over 1,100 ha, which almost doubled the production in 2008-2009 period.
